Amazing food, best Indian I’ve had in years. Was absolutely delicious. I had the beef, rice and saag aloo. I’d go back there 100%
That was one of the best curries I’ve ever had... and I’ve had curries from all over. After popadoms we skipped starters and I went for the Hook Tandoori Special. Every bite was different, every bite was a pleasure to eat, it was faultless. Big chunks of very well cooked chicken, lamb, fish, prawns, king prawns and even a potato wedge - which was great, because I love Bombay aloo. Chunks of tomatoes, onion, peppers and chillies mixed in with it too - take or leave the chillies but I took them (they’re quite hot). I honestly think it would feed two people, I’ve got a big appetite and struggled on my own, was glad I only had to make it over the road to lie down. If I didn’t live 200 miles away, I’d probably be their most regular customer. I’ll definitely be making a point of visiting again next time I’m in the area. Very well done all, absolutely fantastic!

Was in the area on vacation. Best table service I had in the country. The hosts and waiter were very polite and courteous. The complimentary table appetizers were delicious. I had the lamb Bengal. It was yummy. If I lived in the area I would definitely revisit. Thank you for your hospitality.
I have not been here for 14 years, my brother and I went tonight and everything about the service, food, ambience was top class I will be returning for sure. Please visit you want be disappointed.

Well, Over the years I have eaten in many Indian restaurants around the UK and Australia. Hook Tandoori just has to be the best one that I have had the pleasure to go to. Back story, long time school friend, over 60 years, lives in the village. Went there on a busy Saturday evening. Started with popadums of course. They arrived immediately with a full range of accompanying relishes etc. Service was immediate, it does help that my friend had been dining there for over 30 years.
Excellent food and service. Attention to detail is very good. Been twice, consecutive nights and will return.
